Rotary Club of St. Croix Announces Scholarship Winners

St. Croix - The Rotary Club of St. Croix Mid-Isle, in partnership with Ocwen USVI Services, LLC, continues its longstanding commitment to supporting higher education through its annual scholarship program. Each year, the Club awards multiple scholarships to promising high school graduates on St. Croix who are pursuing post-secondary education.
Thanks to the generous and sustained support of Ocwen USVI Services, LLC, graduating seniors from St. Croix Educational Complex and St. Croix Central High School are eligible to apply for the Ocwen Scholarship. This award provides $5,000 per academic year for four years, supporting college tuition and related expenses.
In addition, the Rotary Club of St. Croix Mid-Isle honors the legacy of one of its cherished members, Doctor Carlton Hodgson, through a scholarship which is awarded posthumously in recognition of his commitment to service and longevity in the Club. The Doctor Carlton Hodgson Memorial Scholarship offers $1,000 annually for four years to students graduating from any St. Croix High School.
“We are investing in our future leaders,’ said Jacqueline Heyliger, President of the Rotary Club of St. Croix Mid-Isle. “These scholarships reflect our belief in the power and promise of St. Croix’s youth.”
This year’s 2025 scholarship recipients entering as Freshmen:
J’Neolise Green - Graduate of St. Croix Educational Complex. Ocwen USVI Services, LLC Scholarship - $5,000/year. Winston-Salem State University/ Social Work.
Nayelis St. Omer - Graduate of St. Croix Educational Complex. Doctor Carlton Hodgson Memorial Scholarship - $1,000/year. Tuskegee University/ Architecture/Construction Management.

The Rotary Club of St. Croix Mid-Isle invites all 2026 graduating seniors to apply for our 2026 scholarship awards. These multi-year scholarships are designed to support the recipient’s college journey and recognize their commitment to excellence. Applicants must demonstrate academic achievement, community involvement, and a clear vision for their future, and must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 to remain eligible throughout their college career. Applications will open in March 2026.
