2 Shot in Daylight at Moe’s Gas in Glynn STX - UPDATE!

Update! The male victim in the shooting, who died of his wounds, has been identified as 23-year old Joshawn Ayala.

St. Croix - The 911 Emergency Call Center received a call from a concerned citizen at 12:45 pm, July 24, 2026, regarding a male who was shot in the head and a female who was also shot at Moe’s Service Station parking lot in Estate Glynn, St. Croix.

Upon VIPD officers’ arrival on the scene, they observed a male and a female in a black SUV, both with gunshot wounds. The male sustained a gunshot wound to the head and the female was grazed by a bullet. 

Both of the victims were transported to the Juan F. Luis Hospital for medical treatment. The male is in critical condition and the female sustained nonlife threatening injuries. At this time there is no information as to the identity of either victim.
