3 Arrested in Connection with Burglaries on STX

St. Croix - The VIPD is advising the community that three suspects have been arrested in connection with separate burglary investigations on St. Croix.
On July 17, 2026, 34-year old Orsel Edney was arrested and charged with Third-Degree Burglary in connection with a burglary that occurred on June 24, 2026 at Ambiance Lounge.
On July 30, 2026, 58-year old David Jakubens was arrested and charged with Third-Degree Burglary for breaking into WMJR Service Station and removing items from the business.
On July 31, 2026, 21-year old Deshawn Henley was arrested and charged with Third-Degree Burglary in connection with burglaries at Cheeseburger in Paradise.
Bail was set for all three suspects and were remanded to the John A. Bell Correctional Facility.
The Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) thanks the community for its continued support and assistance in helping to identify and apprehend individuals responsible for these burglaries.
