St. Thomas - On Friday, August 29, 2025, at approximately 11:48 pm, the 911 Emergency Call Center was notified of an unresponsive female at the Galleon House Hotel.
Responding Officers travelled to the Galleon House Hotel and discovered one female who had sustained at least one gunshot wound to her upper body.
Emergency Medical Technicians arrived on the scene and examined the body to find an unresponsive Hispanic female. At 12:26 pm, they concluded the female did not have any vital signs.
The victim was identified by next of kin as 42-year old Maireni Heredia Tiburcio.
