MAMA MAISA'S PEPPER SAUCE EXPANDS U.S. REACH  THROUGH CARIBBEAN CULINARY FESTIVALS AND  CULTURAL PARTNERSHIPS

Award-winning Caribbean pepper sauce brand carries a century-old U.S. Virgin Islands family recipe  to new audiences through food, festivals and cultural collaborations

RALEIGH, N.C. - September 22, 2026 - Mama Maisa's Pepper Sauce, an award-winning Caribbean food  brand inspired by a century-old family recipe from the U.S. Virgin Islands, is expanding its presence across  the United States through culinary partnerships, Caribbean festivals and cultural collaborations celebrating the  food, heritage and traditions of the islands.

Building on a growing series of appearances throughout the Caribbean and the United States, Mama Maisa's  Pepper Sauce is connecting new audiences with authentic Caribbean flavors while sharing the family story  behind a recipe passed down through four generations.

The brand's momentum continues in September with its participation in the West Indian American Day  Carnival in Brooklyn, New York, one of the largest celebrations of Caribbean culture and heritage in the  United States. For Mama Maisa's, the growing presence at Caribbean cultural events represents more than  product exposure: it is an opportunity to connect the Caribbean diaspora through food while preserving and  sharing the culinary traditions of the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Recent Highlights

  • CaribMask Caribbean Carnival - Raleigh, North Carolina: introduced festival attendees to the bold flavors,  family heritage and Caribbean story behind Mama Maisa's Pepper Sauce.

  • King of the Wing VI - St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands: served as an official pepper sauce sponsor of one of  the territory's premier culinary competitions, showcasing the brand alongside Virgin Islands chefs and  restaurants.

  • The company is also scheduled for an upcoming editorial feature in Raleigh Magazine, highlighting its  commitment to Caribbean culinary traditions and continued growth into new markets.

Continuing the Momentum

Following its September appearance in Brooklyn at the West Indian Labor Day Parade, Mama Maisa's will  continue its event momentum with the Rawleigh Oyster Festival in Raleigh, North Carolina, in November  2026. At the same time, the company is pursuing additional retail, foodservice and distribution relationships  throughout the United States as it works to introduce Caribbean flavors to a broader consumer audience.

MAMA MAISA'S PEPPER SAUCE EXPANDS U.S. REACH  THROUGH CARIBBEAN CULINARY FESTIVALS AND  CULTURAL PARTNERSHIPS

"Our mission has always been bigger than producing great pepper sauce," said David Denis, co founder of Mama Maisa's Pepper Sauce. "Every bottle tells a story of family, resilience, culture and  Caribbean heritage. Every festival and partnership gives us another opportunity to share the authentic  flavors and traditions of the U.S. Virgin Islands with new communities. We are proud to preserve our  family's legacy while introducing Caribbean cuisine to consumers across the country."

Mama Maisa's Pepper Sauce traces its roots to a century-old family recipe passed down through four  generations. The company honors the legacy of Rosalie "Miss Anna" Denis, whose handcrafted pepper sauce  became a beloved part of the family's culinary tradition in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Today, Mama Maisa's  combines that family tradition with modern entrepreneurship, using food as a bridge between generations,  communities and cultures.

Through continued collaborations with chefs, retailers, distributors, culinary festivals and cultural  organizations, Mama Maisa's Pepper Sauce aims to grow as both a specialty food brand and an ambassador  for the flavors and culinary heritage of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
