Man Shot Dead in Superior Court Parking Lot STX

St. Croix - On August 10, 2026, at around 2 pm, the St. Croix 911 Emergency Call Center received several notifications of shots fired at the Superior Court STX. One male was reported to have sustained several gunshot wounds.
Upon arrival VIPD Officers observed an unresponsive male in a vehicle at the entrance to the parking lot of the Superior Court. Emergency Medical Services confirmed that the male had succumbed to his injuries.
The male was identified by next of kin as 21-year old Angel Rodriguez III.
The Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) is actively investigating the incident as a homicide.

This murder marks the 18th homicide on St. Croix for 2026, and the 31st in the Territory.
