St. Thomas - On Friday, May 15, 2026, at around 11:32 pm, the Shot Spotter Detection System detected multiple gunshots in the area of Estate Tutu.
On Saturday, May 16, 2026, at around 5:52 am, a concerned citizen called 911 to report a male lying along the side of Yellow Cedar Avenue in Estate Tutu. Officers were dispatched to the scene, where they discovered an unresponsive male who had sustained what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency Medical Technicians responded to the scene and concluded that the male victim did not have any vital signs.
The victim’s next of kin were notified and he was identified as 54-year old Luciano A. Warrell Jr.
