Flight Attendant Cassandra Martin said there was no way she could logically explain the phenomena she saw in the skies over the Bahamas during a recent private jet flight to Ft. Lauderdale Airport in Florida.
The entire private jet flight crew were left stunned after they saw a “clear-cut UFO zig-zagging through the air” as their plane travelled at 46,000 feet.
The Florida-bound crew members told of how they saw strange glowing orbs darting through the sky while flying high above the Bahamas. The group, who were flying with private carrier Surjet, reported they saw two objects darting through the skies.
One flight attendant said she and two pilots saw the object appear at night as white lights, which turned green as they watched. Ms. Martin added they appeared to have been “bathed in an electric energy” as they passed through the sky, The sighting has sparked a quest for answers from the stunned crew.
Speaking to NBC News, Ms. Martin went on to state the object stayed with the plane for around 45 minutes before disappearing into the night sky.
“Air traffic control also caught sight of the unidentified object,” she added. “It started as white and then it just got green and almost like an electric kind of energy that surrounded it.
“All of a sudden I heard traffic control say, ‘we have a foreign object, can you please identify.’
“And so I looked to the left and the pilot said he saw three objects, but from where I was I could only see one,” she went on. “And so I grabbed for my phone and I pressed it to the window to see if I could get a video or photo of the phenomenon.”
The pictures Ms. Martin took show what looks like, at first glance, an object like the moon, but on closer inspection, appears like white discs surrounded by some kind of electromagnetic field. She claimed the unusual glowing orbs exhibited “daunting” flying capabilities and stayed with the aircraft while it cruised at an altitude of 44,000 feet.
Although some so-called experts immediately wrote the sighting off as drones, Ms. Martin, who has years of flying experience, was adamant that the path taken by the objects as “zig-zag” with the added unusual movements, effectively ruled out more commonplace aerial objects like drones or weather balloons - both of which have prompted similar confusion in the past.
“I think we were astonished and it was something that you really can’t explain,” said the eyewitness veteran Flight Attendant. “But I don’t have the qualifications to know exactly what it was.”
For whatever reason the sighting was not officially reported to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) so it could be thoroughly investigated by professionals who are highly regarded as experts in the field of UFO investigation.
The local MUFON representative, Jamie Leonard, Director for MUFON in the USVI, speculated there possibly was no call to the Ft. Lauderdale office for further investigation due to the high-level interests who were renting the Surjet.
