St. Croix - The list of invitees to Violette’s Boutique on Strand Street in Frederiksted, included the Governor, several Senators, a few Senatorial candidates, the Queen Bee of the West Side Claire Roker, and Jenna Monet, who is a candidate for Miss Universe from the Virgin Islands. The A-List crowd showed up in force to celebrate Christine Hilty’s return to the ranks of top retailers on St. Croix. It was nothing less than a loving tribute to a great family and the great Violette’s shops that originated in Christiansted and who have been riding the waves of retail success for over six decades.
“We are excited to bring you the great lines in worldwide perfumes and high quality jewelry from Crislu and by Sonya, the creator of the original St. Croix Hook bracelet. We also have the largest selection of handbags on the Big Island,” said Christine Hilty.
Nestled on the beautiful Frederiksted waterfront, this shop spells class and wonderment the moment you walk in the front doors. The store is filled with the most wonderful perfumes from all over the world. They also are the exclusive seller of Terzani Lights, which are the perfect blend of modern design and timeless elegance. Each lightpiece is hand-crafted with the highest quality materials and cutting-edge design. Violette’s Boutique welcomes all interior designers, project managers, hotel owners and art connoisseurs to view this fabulous collection of statement pieces.
The day was not only special because of it marking Violette’s one year anniversary in Frederiksted on Strand Street, but it announced the official launch at Violette’s Boutique of famed beauty-fashion model, candidate for Miss Universe from the Virgin Islands, Jenna-Monet’s new beauty brand Jenna-Monet Beauty. The exciting brand was created by Owner, Founder, and CEO Jenna-Monet in 2020. She was inspired by her high-powered life as a top fashion model to create a beauty brand that is all about changing the narrative, presenting inclusivity to all ages, races, genders, and ethnicities. The beauty brand oozes with sophistication, vivacious colors, youthfulness, and natural beauty.
It was definitely a blow out kind of night, with super appetizers by Teddy’s Catering, a fine, fine saxophone wailing throughout the night by Jack Petersen and St. Croix society’s movers and shakers stopping by to pick up something beautiful, and pay their respects to a shop that has lasted for only one reason: Violette’s is the Best!
