St. Croix - On November 22, 2025, at around 9:54 pm, the 911 Emergency Call Center dispatched patrol units to a reported domestic disturbance at Estate Richmond, St. Croix.

Detectives of the Criminal Investigation Bureau who were assigned to investigate the case, found there was a heated family dispute over internet service. The suspect, identified as 21-year old Chrismel Berra, allegedly went berserk and assaulted two older adult female family members over a Wi-Fi equipment dispute. She allegedly sprayed an insecticide directly into their faces. Ms. Berra also allegedly assaulted one of the females, her Aunt, by throwing a plastic chair at her. She then armed herself with a knife, and made threats to use the weapon and kill members of the household before leaving the scene.

On December 2, 2025, at approximately 10:00 am, Chrismel Berra presented herself  at the Criminal Investigation Bureau, where she was advised of her rights, interviewed, and placed under arrest. She was charged with Assault in the Second Degree, Disturbance of the Peace by Threats and Assault Third - DV. Miss Berra was booked, and no bail was set at the time as per the Domestic Violence law. She was transported to the John Bell Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility, where she was remanded pending her Advice of Rights Hearing.
