Two Arrested for Attempted Murder on STX

St. Croix - On September 3. 2025, at approximately 10:42 pm, Officers were dispatched via 911 Emergency Call Center to Williams Delight, St. Croix, regarding an assault which occurred in the vicinity of Cane Valley. The victim, an adult male was transported to the Juan F. Luis Hospital emergency room via ambulance. As a result of the assault, the victim sustained serious injuries to his body and head and was admitted for further treatment.
Detectives of the Criminal Investigation Bureau, Major Crime Unit investigation revealed Henry Emmanuel and Angel Santiago were identified as suspects in this case and arrest/search warrants were obtained from the Superior Court.
On September 22, 2025, Detectives of the Criminal Investigation Bureau and Special Operation Bureau executed the warrants where 56-year old Henry Emmanuel and 37-year old Angel Santiago were arrested. During the search warrant for Angel Santiago, three firearms, ammunition, scopes and firearm paraphernalia were confiscated.
Both men were advised of their Miranda Rights, booked and unable to post bail that was set at $100,000. The men face charges of Attempted Murder first, Assault first degree, assault third degree, carrying of firearms - openly or concealed during a crime of violence, Brandishing and exhibiting or using a deadly weapon, carrying or using a dangerous weapon and or possession or sale of ammunition.
Mr. Emmanuel and Mr. Santiago were transported to the John A. Bell Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility where they were remanded pending their Advice of Rights Hearing on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the Superior Court.
