Weekend Report: Crime on STT Shootings, Assault/Robbery

ST. Thomas - Two men were shot on St. Thomas in a shooting incident that took place in a popular bar on Krondprindsens Gade. The incident took place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, with the VIPD asking for assistance in the investigation that occurred just after 1 am in the vicinity of the Double Play Bar.
Both victims were taken via private vehicle to Schneider Regional Medical Center where they were treated for non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
At this time VIPD has found no motive or suspects for the shootings.

Two Women Attacked and Robbed at Subbase St. Thomas
St. Thomas - Members of the Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) are investigating a robbery and assault that occurred on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 3:30 am in the area of the Subbase.
While VIPD Officers were on patrol in the Subbase area, they made contact with two female victims, who stated they had been attacked and robbed by two males dressed entirely in black and wore masks that covered their faces.
The victims stated that the assailants approached them and demanded they hand over their belongings before forcibly taking their jewelry and a bag containing personal effects. One of the women was struck in the head with a firearm, while the other woman was shoved to the ground.
The suspects were described as black men, one having dreadlocks.
