Woman Sexually Assaulted at McDonald’s La Reine

St. Croix - On June 2, 2026, at around 1:30 pm, a female victim reported to police that she was sexually assaulted in the McDonald’s restaurant in Estate La Reine. The case was assigned to a member of the Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) for investigation. It was discovered that Neil Durrant was the individual who sexually assaulted the victim.
On June 3, 2026, contact was made with Neil Durrant, 48, by the CIB. He was transported to the Wilbur H. Francis Command Police Station where he was advised of his Miranda Rights. Mr. Durrant was placed under arrest, booked and was unable to post bail which was set at $35,000.
Mr. Durrant was charged with Unlawful Sexual Contact First Degree and Simple Assault and Battery. He was subsequently transported to the John Bell Correctional Facility pending his Advice of Rights Hearing.
